Why wool is use in winter ?

Wool fiber is a natural (animal) fiber. Also called  protein fiber. Constructed by keratin, dirt etc .Outer surface of wool fiber contain scale which feeling harsh. For cold weather the scale has opened but when it is come closer to heat or warm (human body) the scales been closed. And create a protection to transfer heat from human body to weather & make feeling warm. Due to this advantage wool fiber is used in winter.

       Why cotton is cool fiber ?

        

        Naturally cotton fiber has some air space due to kidney shape in the fiber. In case of summer season cotton fiber absorb sweat due to kidney shape  from human body and provide to feel cold . For this reason cotton fiber is called cool fiber.
